Independent assessment of education programs and investments, from people who build and run them, not just review them.
Most organisations investing in education can tell you how many students they reached. Far fewer can tell you what changed, and fewer still know whether the program is carrying governance or compliance risk they can't see.
That gap isn't a failure of intent. Education programs are hard to assess: outcomes are long-term, students move on, and the people best placed to report are usually the ones delivering. So what gets reported is what's easy to count, and the exposure that matters most often goes unnoticed.
We assess what's actually happening: whether the program is sound, whether it's compliant, whether it's working, and what to do next.
Why who assesses it matters
We assess programs because we run them. The compliance risks that generalist reviewers miss are the ones we've had to manage ourselves, in real schools.
What an assessment covers
Design
Is the program built to achieve what it claims? Does it reach the right students at the right stage, and is the logic connecting activity to outcome sound?
Compliance and risk
Does it meet the consent, privacy, child safety and data obligations that apply to working with young people? This is where most programs carry exposure they aren't aware of.
Evidence
What's measured now, what's missing, and what could reasonably be measured from here. We establish a baseline so future years have something to compare against.
What you receive
A written assessment coveringcovers what the program is achieving, what it isn't, where the risk sits, and what we'd recommend doing next: continue, change, expand or stop.
We'll tell you if we think a program should stop. That's occasionally the most valuable finding an assessment produces, and it's the reason to have someone independent do it.
